Cabal (Novella) by clive Barker review

This novella is in the collection of storys called Cabal. I got this book soon after i read the hellbound heart and just loved it. The story Is about a man named Boone who gets told by his doctor that he may have brutally murdered 5 women which causes bone to go crazy. Later hes ready to be taken in by police until someone tells him about a place called midian where he can redeem himself and be accepted as one of the folk. So he goes to midian only to be encountered by a monster named peloquin who bites his flesh before getting saved by a different creature. Boone goes inside a building only to meet dr.deckard his doctor which then deckard explains that he framed Boone and that deckard actually is the killer and deckard says he has a whole police squad around. Deckard tells the squad that Boone has a gun so they open fire on him and they presume hes dead but he ain't so he escapes the mortuary and runs back to midian to stay with the nightbreed as the monsters are called. The rest of the story revolves around Boone,Deckard and boones girlfriend Lori. Its a good read and it was adapted into the 1990 film Nightbreed which later got a directors cut and 2 hour 30 min cut called the cabal cut and Is now currently getting a 3 hour cut.
