This novel started off really slow and i mean very slow to the point where I put it down for a month. 1 day I decided to pick it back up and i read the whole thing in just a week. The novel is about retired detective bill Hodges who is a drunken fool who keeps thinking about suicide. That's when a mysterious letter appears in his mailbox saying you never found me haha. The letter is from a man he never caught when he had a job and this man is known as the mercedes killer. The novel also shifts to the point of view of the mercedes killer who's named Brady heartsfield and you really delve into the minds of both men. The whole novel Is a cat and mouse game essentially and is one of the best thrillers I've ever read. From my research this novel was adapted into the TV show Mr mercedes and I've already read the rest of the trilogy altogether this is a awesome read
