Stephen kings maximum overdrive (movie) review

My uncle had a copy of this movie when I went to his house one day and he told me the movie was the only movie to be directed by stephen king. So one day I get a used copy at the local rental store and start watching. I could already see why it's his only directorial movie cause it was bad but so bad it was eerily good. The plot of the movie is that a green alien force passes through the earth for 3 days and it causes every machine to go haywire and start killing people including ACDC the people who also made the music for the movie. So a group of dumb survivors get trapped in a gas station by a green goblin toy truck and a army gun truck and of course transport trucks. People get killed by video games,Pop machines,Lawn mowers,Bulldozers,Kitchen appliances and many more things including dinky cars. The movie is bad but in the good way I suggest for you to check out the short story it's based on trucks.
