I remember hearing about this book a lot and that's how I got to checking it out. The book is about a man named Arthur dent who is already having a bad time because a neighbor knocks his house down and then he sees that the earth will get destroyed. He is then saved by his alien friend who hitchhikes with him across the galaxy to figure out some secrets about earth. A really funny book
